Professor II

Experience and background

I am a professor in Criminology at the University in Oslo, Department of Criminology and Sociology of Law, and professor II at Norwegian Police University College. I was employed at NPUC Research Department from 2006 until 2016. I am currently working on the research project New Trends in Modern Policing. The main research topic is risk management and different target groups. Currently I am researching the proximity police reform, digitalisation in the police and shifts in crime prevention. As a researcher at the Norwegian Police University College, I also participate in several research groups.
