How to apply to post-graduate courses

Take a look at our courses in English here.

The application process

Register an application in Søknadsweb

Sign in to Søknadsweb and choose «New application» and «Post-graduate studies».

Choose a course from the drop-down menu below.

You will find the Nordic Computer Forensic Investigators modules under «Ordinary application process» and the Digital forensics modules under “Courses with rolling admission”. You must select an application alternative and add your employer.

NB! Regarding registration of mobile number for some European Countries. (Country code and leading zero)

Some European Countries enter their mobile numbers in this format: 070 1234567.

When entering the country code, e.g. Sweden, "+46" then the first "0" must be replaced with +46 so the number becomes "+46 701234567"
Upon registering a mobile number in Studentweb, the country code will be added automatically.

If you are a resident of one of these countries, it is important that you do NOT enter your mobile number with "0" first in Studentweb!

Upload required documentation

As an applicant, you must upload required documents using the tab «My documents» in Søknadsweb. Your application will be rejected if the required documents are not uploaded by the application deadline. You can find the admission requirements on the course website.

Please be advised that a resume (CV) or an employment contract is never sufficient documentation for any admission requirement.

After you have registered an application

Once you have registered your application the site “View application receipt” will appear. There you will find a receipt for your registration and a list of courses you have registered for. You can also change or withdraw your application, and follow the status of your application.

You will receive an e-mail with your application information. It is your responsibility to check that you have registered your correct e-mail address in Søknadsweb.

Admission and response to your application

The ordinary admission process normally takes one month after the application deadline. You will be notified by e-mail if there are any delays. You can also follow the status of your application on Søknadsweb.

You will receive a response to your application by e-mail and in Søknadsweb. If you are admitted to a course, you must reply in Søknadsweb. The deadline to reply will appear in the e-mail and in Søknadsweb. You will lose your place in the course if you fail to reply.

If you still have questions, please send us an e-mail at: opptakevu@phs.no
