Experience and background
I have worked as a dog handler and IP3 for 25 years, before I was appointed to the Norwegian Police University College in 2019, where I now work as an instructor in the canine field. I am responsible for the special searches; criminal investigation, fire, bomb and weapons. I am also responsible for the "Subject booklet" which describes the use of dogs in acute situations. I am also responsible for the implementation of the "currency dog" project, which has received research and development funds. I am a trained instructor in dog service, operational disciplines and instructor training from Frontex.
