Driver's license: Class B

Driver's License Class B for at Least Two Years

Emergency driving is a mandatory part of the police training, and you will learn it in the second year of study. To be able to perform emergency driving, you are required to have had a Class B driver's license for at least two years. Therefore, you must have a Class B driver's license by August 1st of the year before you apply for admission.

If you have a Norwegian driver's license, you do not need to submit documentation for it. Politihøgskolen will check this directly with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
