Cheating

Cheating or attempted cheating is defined as behavior that violates the regulations or guidelines of The Norwegian Police University College for each exam or coursework requirement.

What are cheating and plagiarism?

Cheating or attempted cheating can include, for example:

  • Using or having unauthorized aids available during an exam or test. You are responsible for ensuring that the aids you plan to use during the exam are allowed.
  • Unauthorized collaboration between students. Certain forms of collaboration may be permitted for home exams - the boundary for what is allowed and not allowed is determined depending on the course.
  • Unlawfully gaining access to the assessment in advance.
  • Failing to reference sources used in the work.
