Background and experience

I have a phd. in sociology of law from the University of Oslo and am a professor of sociology. In my research, I move between classical sociology, the sociology of education and professions, and legal history. I am currently working on two research projects: (1) professions and the socialization of police students; (2) an essay on Max Weber's methods when studying the history of law.
