We are happy to announce that PHS is now member of EACTDA, the European Anti-Cybercrime Technology Development Association (EACTDA), a non-profit association, composed of LEAs, research&academia, and industry, that focuses on the uptake of technological solutions so that they can be offered with no license cost and access to the source code to EU LEAs

Dr. Georgina Humphries commented, "We are thrilled to join forces with EACTDA in its mission. Our membership in EACTDA is not just a step forward for PHS but a significant contribution to the entire Association. We are confident that our experience will benefit the whole Association, and we look forward to contributing".

EACTDA started as an H2020 project to promote the development of technological solutions for European Law Enforcement Agencies and Forensic Laboratories to use in their fight against crime

EACTDA's membership is a diverse and dynamic group, including European law enforcement agencies, ministries of interior, forensic institutes, and other European public security practitioners. It also encompasses relevant research technology organisations and industrial partners, all united in their commitment to combatting crime through technological innovation.

EACTDA has been awarded a European Union direct ISF grant to run the Tools4LEAs project.

Its HQ is located in San Sebastian, Spain.
