Exchange in the Second Year
In the second year of police education, you have the opportunity to go abroad on exchange or participate in international weeks at Politihøgskolen.
Get an Insight into Police Education in Other Countries
Do you want to see what other police students in Europe are doing and how they learn about police work? We have cooperation agreements with several foreign police education institutions.
The exchange stay lasts from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on where you go, and takes place in the spring semester. The specific date and duration of the stay will vary depending on the location you are traveling to.
Exchange locations
Students can apply for exchange programs to police education institutions in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Germany, Ireland, the UK (Liverpool), the Netherlands, and Romania.

International Weeks
An alternative to going on a student exchange can be participating in Politihøgskolen's international weeks.
International weeks will provide you with exciting academic challenges, and you will get to know other students across borders and professions.
What do you need to do?
To apply, you must fill out a simple application where we ask for personal information and your preference for which country you want to travel to. If you are a student in one of our programs, you can find more detailed information about exchange by logging into the Student Portal
