Exchange in the third year

In the third year, you can choose between two options: an international bachelor's thesis and an exchange to Umeå.

Cooperation Week in Umeå

Every year in week 20, Blåljusveckan (Blue Light Week) is held in Umeå. This is part of the study program associated with police education in Sweden and is a week focused on cooperation. Participants are students from all emergency services as well as the journalism program at Umeå University.

The week concludes with two days of exercises where cooperation in various incidents is essential to solving the tasks. The exercises are extensive and include around 70 markers to recreate real events. All tasks are conducted from the alert and response phase to the normalization phase.

Because the exercises require competence in the use of all police force tools and good knowledge of police tactics, this week requires passing the B3 camp.

Politihægskolen contributes instructors for the implementation.
