Benedicte Nordahl Berntsen

PhD Candidate

Experience and background

I am a sociologist who recently started as a PhD candidate in the project ‘Criminal exposure in vulnerable areas’, a collaborative project between the Norwegian Police University College and the University of Oslo. In my PhD project, I focus on gendered criminal careers in a life-course perspective with a special interest in within-family analyses of intergenerational crime trajectories and associations between siblings. I also work as a lecturer in quantitative methods at the University of Oslo.
