Experience and background

I am a sociologist with a PhD in Sociology from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. My current research is about hate crime against LGBT people. I am particularly interested in the nexus between queer citizenship, state violence and the exclusion of racialized ‘others’. I am a member of the research group "Police, law and society" at the Norwegian Police University College.
