Experience and background

Since 2012, I have studied the evolution of right-wing terrorism and violence in Western Europe. At the Norwegian Police University College, I lead the INCONTEXT-project, investigating how repression of the far-right affects extreme-right terrorism in Western democracies. I am also affiliated to the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) at the University of Oslo, where I lead the development of the RTV-dataset, documenting right-wing terrorism and violence in 18 West-European countries.
