Experience and background

I am a lawyer with a PhD on the legal regulation of security and intelligence services. I have published books and articles in the areas of covert investigation, surveillance, and terrorism regulation. I am also interested in international law, human rights and comparative law. I am affiliated with the faculty of law, University of Oslo, and have formerly worked as a judge in the appeals court, as a prosecutor and as a legal advisor to the Norwegian government and parliament.
