I am a criminologist with a PhD from the University of Oslo. Currently I am working on a project on white-collar crime called Controlling Capital. Other fields of research are punishment, courts, subcultures and legal history. I am the leader of the research Group Police, law and Society. I am also a member of the research group Law, Society and historical Change at the University of Oslo.Competence areas
