Experience and background

For the past few years my research has mainly been evolving the prevention of radicalization and violent extremism. Currently, I am writing a PhD in Political Science (UiO) looking at the roles of the police in the multi-agency approach to prevent violent extremism at the local level in Norway. My PhD is co-funded by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) and I am affiliated to the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX). I also work as a researcher in the EU project Community-Based Policing and Post Conflict Police Reform.
